Many centuries ago, in the lands of Cartagena de Indias, there was a tribe known as the Calamari. These Indians lived in harmony with nature and considered themselves the guardians of the beaches and seas that surrounded their sacred land.

 

The Calamari were known for their adventurous spirit and bravery. Each day, they took to the ocean in their little canoes, sailing into the unknown in search of hidden treasures and exciting experiences. These Indians found happiness in the simplicity of life and enjoyed every moment as if it were a precious gift, dancing to the sound of drums, feasting on exotic fruits that grew in the region and sharing stories and legends around the fire.

This is how Hotel Calamari was born, a charming refuge that stands on the beaches of Isla Barú. Inspired by the history and spirit of the Calamari Indians, this hotel has been created to honor their legacy and share their passion for life and exploration.
